0 baht in a thai bank for extension, if you just have it in a thai bank for 3 months is that enough? or do you have to prove that it was wired in from overseas? Or can you can just show you have the funds in a us bank?

Steve Greir, but if i get a one way ticket, i will not have flight number to put on departure card for departure as i would not have outgoing flight, is that not correct?

, yes, thanks Tod, that is what i was referring to. i was thinking maybe i could book a one way ticket to Thailand. But as a tm.6 departure card is required, i will need to book a round trip ticket. thanks to everyone for your input.

i read in an earlier post, a member was going to renew his one year extension and mentioned he had his tm6 , just wanted to know if immigration would require it

yes, over 50, applying with income affidavit of pension over

baht a month. Then will apply for one year extension based on income, just was wondering if needed the tm6 departure card, or could just book a one way ticket
