Hello, I am on a non o visa with 1 year extension exp Jan 2022. I am leaving Thailand for about 3 months to go back to USA this month. Not have health insurance. Would I need to get health insurance other then the covid 19 insurance when returning? Requirements on return?
TLDR : Answer Summary
When returning to Thailand on a Non-O visa with a 1-year extension, you do not need to acquire new health insurance aside from the COVID-19 insurance. The key requirement upon your return is to have at least $100,000 in COVID-19 insurance. You will be using a re-entry permit instead of obtaining a new visa.
