I got my DTV from Dubai in Jan. the whole process took ~3 weeks. Applied on 10th Dec.

12th Dec: Pending approval

15th Dec: Request additional documents (Trade license of my UAE company who sponsored visa)

19th Dec: Processing

23rd Dec: I received a mail for interview but in the system it was still showing up processing document

26th Dec: Attended interview, challenge was explaining why I don’t work for the company here who sponsored my visa & why US company for whom I work doesn’t sponsor me.

Now to answer your question, you need to submit all pages of passport. If you don’t they might ask you during additional documents but that might delay approval timeline so I would suggest give it to them.

My application went from pending approval to request document after 8 days I think and then they requested interview but portal was showing processing documents. After interview it took around 10 days to actually receive the visa.
