What are the options for applying for a DTV Soft Power visa after moving 500K to my bank account?

If you want to open a bank account and live hassle free, better to get education visa first and later on switch to DTV. I got my DTV in the Netherlands last year within 3 days but now I am having problems paying etc. locally cos I cannot open bank account on DTV. It becomes expensive if you add up in the short and long-run. Just my two cents.
