Perso je prends une assurance voyage en plus. Et par la suite je réfléchirai à une assurance privée.

Salut, je suis pas en Thaïlande car je suis en attente de réponse de l’ambassade à Paris, c’est transparent pour ton employeur, point de vue administratif c’est comme si tu étais en voyage longue durée. Perso mon employeur n’a rien eu à faire mise à part les papiers demandés par l’immigration.

I didn't even receive a confirmation email when I submitted my application. I contacted them a week after submitting the application, and they told me that it had been registered and that I had to wait.

I'll contact them again next week if I still haven't heard anything. In Paris, it has a reputation for taking a long time, and with the public holidays in May, it's delayed even further.

I've been waiting for Paris for three weeks now. I submitted my application on the 15th and am still waiting for my documents to be verified. It takes forever in France.

If you apply for a visa in France, you don't need to translate.

So everything I'm telling you comes from my contacts with immigration in order to apply for the visa... I will confirm all this informations... when I have obtained or not my visa... I'm applying for it in 3 weeks so in June I will know if it's the right approach or not and I will get back to you.

yeah, go to the immigration website and apply, put all your documents, it will allow you to see how the process works. you will see, the documents must not exceed a certain size, etc.... and you do not finish the application and then you delete your application. that way you can do as many as you want without validating them, while your file is perfect... and yes at the end it asks you for the flight and accommodation but no need for a reservation, just the dates and the flight number, personally I booked them because I am sure to go on vacation if I do not have the DTV :.. 😅

I also took my plane ticket because when you make a request, at the end they ask for it... when I called them on Tuesday, the person told me that we weren't even obliged, putting a flight number corresponding to the journey you were going to make was enough.

I asked them by email a few months ago and I called them on Tuesday to make sure it hadn't changed, and it's still ok

I put my address at my grandmother's and I changed the address on my free mobile bill. It's OK, I've checked with the Paris embassy.
