Have you watched the news this past week? Many banks including Thai accounts have been blocked from using due to mule accounts. Even though they actually did nothing wrong, but because where the cash came from.

I know the rules I've been doing it for some time now. It's supposed to be 3 months not 2. It actually states 2 also in the paperwork and on the visa applications
