I did a sponsorship letter for my daughter. I showed my cover letter for my DTV and showed my bank statements showing my own 500k baht. She showed her own 500k in her own bank account. She was on her own DTV as she is 22.

yes. I’m American so I had to fill out a new W9 form and a packet asking me questions about my citizenship.

I received a text from my bank stating it was urgent I go to a branch and update my information. I went, had to fill out all new paperwork, check that my phone number was still the same. Took copies of my current visa and lease and I had to prove my identity with 3 pieces of ID. Passport, USA drivers license and birth certificate. Bank account is now secured.

My 21 yr old daughter was approved with this company in Washington DC. For financials she showed her 500k in her bank account and my sponsorship letter. I have the remote worker DTV.

Im a freelancer/independent contractor/ own my own business. I applied in Washington DC. I was asked for additional docs twice. I was approved 16 days after submission. Here is what I gave them:

Cover letter

6 months personal account checking statements. Only one month showed more than $15k.

6months business savings account showing more than $15k for 6 months.

All of my active contracts.

Letters from my clients stating they are ok with me working remote in Thailand.

My business articles of organization

3 months worth of deposits in my business checking account

They asked for pay slips

I provided my clients last check to me (I get paid weekly)

They asked for tax docs and business registration

I provided 2024 tax return

Certified business registration.

I am also listed as the sponsor for my 21 year old daughter who is coming in on a soft power (seminars).

Don’t use an agency. From experience. Use an attorney. Might not be best to do ED visa. There was a huge problem in December and now only schools can obtain them.
