Everything here is upside down the best advise is ask embassy in your country then watch and wait for Thailand to stabilize vaccinate etc. Right now I have friend with Thai wife and child in USA just now being able to come home from this horrible virus. Also there is probably a Greek marriage/BF/Vacation website Thai's helping Thais, My Thai wife got lots of info on one before coming to states and Schengan will have tons chat rooms for Thai girls....this will help her feel more secure and keep the dream alive,

I would think twice about buying condo here...in Pattaya or Jomtien. I paid 3MB in 2008 couldn't get 1.5 today or 20 years from today the building still 30% full and View Talay 7 10-20% and it's a popular good Outfit. Upkeep awesome pool.... they are overbuilding!!. 50+floors going up next door Night Market if you get one do Bangkok. just my 10 years full time resident Jomtien many friends who same situation. Been coming for 25 years when Jomtien had no sidewalks. No mean nasty commentary required just advise... everyone's got one...

Best talk to an agent if in Chonburi. lots in Pattaya can work miracles. Marriage visa terrible; they the police show up often see if "your really married" as Retirement no issues-they do not come full force to "check on you"

Not sure went to Pattaya but it was "official" looking stamps and letterhead and 150b a pop. What a racket. Love residence certificate 300 baht and you can not get a driver's license without one and you can not renew without new one (although nothing changed in 4 years)

yes can get 3 weeks to month early

Last year they made me do it and Bangkok Bank takes 7 days to push a button hence I was on overstay 5 days because fell near weekend and they made me pay extra 2500 dollars. I was NOT HAPPY! I told BB that's "BullS&&T" just push the button. Nope and it took exactly 7 days. this year Febuary went in with the 12 months no problem.
