yes. I get my Thai girlfriend to go to 7-eleven and buy a SIM for me. Now SIM is not registered to me. Fake SIM. Under a different name. Maybe "fake" is not correct terminology, but it is not real. If it's not real it is "fake". 100,000 Chinese will tell you.

Go to service provider. Take passport. They will link your SIM to your passport. They will issue a statement. Take to bank. Finished. Over. 100,000 fake SIM's in Thailand. I also don't think they froze your account. And what are you talking about TM30? Get back in your lane. If you're having an issue tell me. I will help you resolve.

Blanket statement. The solution is to go to your network provider with passport. They will give you paperwork stating your phone number is linked to your passport. No different than Thai's number is linked to their National ID card. Takes 10 minutes

such blanket statements. “ No they don’t, yes they do”. The truth is some banks do, some don’t. Some branches do, some branches don’t. Nothing in Thailand is cut and dry. Each branch of each bank has their own requirements.
