yeah I definitely recommend the south! I’d try this before I voluntarily went in to overstay like other people are saying but that’s just me 😬

I only got the one because it covered my entire stay but you might be right. I went to pai and they were being very strict about it and gave me the under consideration stamp - but I have friends who went in the south and they had a much easier experience

When are you arriving? You can apply for your 30 day extension at any time and it will start from the end of your 60 days - once you’ve applied for that if you find a generous immigration office you can then apply for the Covid visa which will start from the day you apply (60 days) so if you time it right before the Covid visas stop you can get it that way.

In my experience you can not get the Covid visa until you have exhausted all other options aka already gotten your thirty days extension. When I went they started my Covid extension from the day it was approved however I do know people who were able to get the Covid visa to start from the end of their current extension. You just need to do the math
