yeh there seems to be no consistency though.. guess time will tell.. I was a little anxious at poking the bear going into a different branch yesterday, especially when they were scanning my passport pages (all of them) but so far no problems.. 🤞

no nothing from immigration other than just a statement certificate showing funds over 500k not even bank statements,

The bank cashier seemed to be confused by this though as my partner tried to explain and they just advised they would lock 400k for four months as I’m meant to have it in before hand..

I think maybe they were thinking someone such as an agent may have transferred it to me and I was going to transfer back, tried to explain it was sent from my uk bank account. Didn’t mind them locking it for 4 months as it’s savings regardless.

Just sped up the process In the bank to get the certificate
