What tips do you have for buying a condo in Thailand as an expat planning to retire?

not really I bought in 2004 2.4 maybe get 3.4 if I'm lucky if I'd invested that at 5 % per annum tax free would've more than doubled but I bought it to live in so works out about the same ! Rent only 12k to 16k depending on the season !

Send it to a thai name and village address if you can ! Customs mainly look for foreign name as a cash cow ! Sent stuff to my wife using the post office never had a problem only opened one package one time !
