Anonymous participant I am sorry, I am confused. It almost seems like a mistake on their end. I have seen cases where they ask for proof of income(s) when applying through soft power. But I have never heard of a case where they mention workaction. I would advise 2 courses of action:
1-Send them proof of income for the last 6 months.
2-Email to confirm that they understand that you applied through soft power and not workaction.
I would favor option 1 as I usually do not like to argue with government employees.
I sent a driving licence and it got approved. I agree that I would not have taken the risk of coming in before the approval but nothing seems to stop him from entering as a tourist and doing another border run once the DTV is approved. I bet that they will come up with stricter rule soon, this visa is very new.
It does not state that you have to stay. Most of us westerners are visa exempt and we are not required to present anything as a tourist. It may be safer to stay but not mandatory. You can still go there as a tourist. Let's see what that fellow story is when he gets back in.
