We aren't looking for a permanent relocation to Thailand. Instead, we want a flexible insurance policy for our family's travel freedom and asset protection due to the political climate in Hong Kong. We need a 10-year residency program that doesn't impose a 'physical presence' requirement. Thailand is our top choice because it offers the best value for money, especially when compared to the high taxes and expensive lifestyle in Western countries

I am considering whether to apply for the DTV visa or the LTR visa, especially since I realized the LTR visa requires a criminal record . Which one do you think is better? While the LTR visa has a higher cost, it offers a 10-year stay and eliminates the need to leave Thailand every year.
