All over can say is that the teller gave me that advice, I followed it and had the money in my account about 10 minutes later.

Why do you want to cancel your visa?

Your employer will cancel the work permit and with that the visa looses its basis. You don’t have to do anything.

Right.

I had that problem when selling a painting for 20k in Vienna on Sunday, then driving back home to Switzerland. When I wanted to put the money in my account the told me to better do it in 3 parts bc 10k up would need paperwork to show proof of origin.

withdraw and transfer have limits that you can set in the mobile app (max 50k per day and 2m per transaction, if I remember correctly).

The ebanking doesn’t always follow those rules.

Something in your logic doesn’t add up. Can you explain the following?

When I assembled my paperwork for the revenue department for 2024 I had Bangkok bank AND kasikorn statements showing international transfers.

So it did not depend on which bank was the first in a transfer.

And I strongly believe that kasikorn was the main partner because all transfers were instantaneous while transfers to Bangkok bank mostly were executed over night, arriving a few minutes after 14:00.

Plus: in English the wise transfers were coded like “ref ….” (Don’t remember exactly) while in Thai they were “foreign” or “international” depending on how I got the statement.

Exactly. I always wonder what people interpret.

Fortunately I got mine long time ago and the embassy explained it quickly “50 year and cash, or 50 years and proof of pension”.

No health insurance needed for nonO. Only non OA needs that and I wouldn’t recommend it.

Yes?

Took us an hour of getting the documents ready for my wife to get her Schengen visa plus 10 minutes in the embassy.

What did you mean?
