I thought so....I have not done a 90 day report in 5 years as I now work in the Philippines on an 8 weeks on 2 weeks off shift rotation. Been here 3 months this time waiting for new contract.

I have always just walked into the condo building and asked at the reception/management office. They put you in touch direct with the owner or their own rental person. This has always worked for me.

I have done this before. I had to obtain a UK emergency passport as mine was stolen in Cambodia whilst on holiday from Bangkok.

Each country has a list of other countries that they will accept emergency passports from. If your country is not on the list you either travel to a country that does accept you or you have to travel to your country of origin.

Emergency passports are only valid for a short period of time and intended to allow you to travel until you obtain new passport.

Again each country has its own rules on what it will allow you to do in their country.

As a UK emergency passport holder I was permitted to enter Thailand, my friend from Laos was not!! (both passports stolen).

On arrival in Thailand I was stamped in for 30 days. I then went to immigration and they transferred my still valid retirement visa into emergency passport (they have all details on their system). I then applied for new UK passport, when it arrive I again went to immigration and the details were passed to my new passport. Your emergency passport is immediately invalid when a new passport is issued.

If you go down the emergency passport route be aware that Thailand will only accept emergency passports from certain countries.

I go to the bank the day before and get the statements and the letter then I go to the bank and deposit 100 baht and update bank book the morning I go to Changwattana immigration. No problems doing that method in the last 8 years.

Make sure apart from the 100 baht deposit you have no other transactions after you obtain the statements.

Try asking your landlord to register and give you the login details...then register yourself, that's what I do.
