also at immigration office in chiang mai, it doesn't seemed to me we had access to immigration officer (no official uniform). We were blocked at information counter and it was a NO before you can even start to explain the situation. Can you Call labor office : NO. Obviously she was not in the mood and/or possibility to find a solution. About Lawsuit, lool she doesn't seems to know what is it and why there's the need to be a director in a company to accept or not the deals/verdict that could be proposed

i did but i was told i cannot renew wp before 1 month of expiration date, when i came back 1 month later, we were under lockdown and thus too late

Wp3 is 1 document on 1 page. It s a document, stating u can get a business visa for one company and one position to apply for a wp. Like a wp pre approval. I guess this is a recent move to crack down on "false" business visa and wp. Once u get it, scan it, send to applicant by email. Then he can print and go to embassy along with the whole application documents that are needed of course. How long to get this letter? Well, they have 6 days to give it to you, all embassies knows that, so... They run some basic checks on company and applicant (thus the 6 days I guess), like taxes paid, licenses ok, company actually exist and open, applicant comply with immigration rules and so on...

Official timeframe to get wp3 is 6 days. I ve asked for it 2 times, each time i expected to get the wp3 quicker but finally it was 6 days in both cases. Which means, stay about 10 days abroad. Worth mentioning also that the wp3 can be denied for various reasons... After 6 days waiting 😞

i m a bit surprised on how you managed to got all the documents. You can ask for wp3 only when you already left the country. You will have to send a copy of your stamp out to your company. Then your company will have to ask for the wp3 from labor office, which could be denied for various reasons. Denied or not the process is 6 days long. Only then, when you get your wp3, you can apply for your visa: 2 days more. Expect a 10 days process
