Are there any veterans receiving VA disability benefits while living in Thailand?

Yes I know several and if you need care there is a clinic in Pattaya. It’s called Veterans First Pattaya healthcare. They seem very active with the Veteran community.

yup, a month or two ago my account was froze. Went to one of the branches, they wanted to verify me, through my phone provider, passport with non O and did a facial scan to reset it. Was not even the branch I opened the account in. They hooked it fast.

Jomtien is a nice place. Plenty of western folks and food when you want. Not as busy as Pattaya but close to some really good live music. Also a short drive to Bangkok. Enjoy the adventure, I am going on 4 years now.

What are the recent experiences with sending money using Wise to Thai banks?

yes true. I called Wise yesterday as my transfer I made days ago had not posted. Although Wise gave a receipt that the transfer was completed. The Rep said there was an issue with their partner bank here and it was resolved and later yesterday they resent the money which successfully posted.
