@Steve *******
- have you thought that it may have just been economics and the most competitive quote from those capable of such work at the time? I agree it should not have happened but that's down to inept politicians and nothing to do with Brexit or those who voted for it.

- nonsense, Brexit is a longer term project and it's way too early to claim it's a failure. The UK has the independence now to pretty much do what it wants especially concerning trade. The people who constantly talk down the UK the majority of which are Remainers still crying over Brexit are the very people who drag down the UK. Without such people the UK would definitely be doing better. It's not surprising that these people many of whom are in the pockets of their EU masters talk down the UK. In fact you can see it everywhere but most of the doom and gloom merchants have been consistently proven wrong by the UK's performance which is why the UK is out performing many EU countries. I have ZERO regrets about voting to leave the corrupt EU my only regrets are that those that lost a public vote still cry like little brats that didn't get their own way.

Sadly the UK is heading for re-joining because of all the brain washing that's been going on since 2016 and dirty politicians working behind the backs of the British public. You will get your own way eventually like most brats do!

@Steve *******
- tell me what that has to do with 'Brexiteers' exactly?

I thought it was something to do with a useless government and crappy politicians...same clowns that have done everything to try to thwalt Brexit and ensure it's not a success. Devious policians being paid huge sums by Brussels go check it out...nothing but corruption.

Sounds like a sacked teacher πŸ™„πŸ˜‚

As a lot of people often say, people that go into teaching do so simply because they can't think of anything else to do or don't have the motivation to do something more interesting and exciting.

I have first hand experience of teachers and I can tell you they are mostly university educated spoilt brats who totally owe their existence to 'mummy and daddy' who came up with the money for their education only for them to take the easy route at the end of it.

I have only respect for Thailand and it's people yes not every one is nice same as everywhere else. Thai culture is about their deep routed religion and IMHO smacks western countries and their culture out of the park.

I see extremely hard working people in Thailand working long days (normally in excess of 12 hours) and 6 days a week mostly on low pay. Brats would never even notice this πŸ™„

I use Bolt all the time and used Grab when I can't get one on Bolt. Grab tends to be a little more expensive. Both apps give you a choice of type of transport and different costs. If you want to get one outside the airport you can at least first check out what you should be paying using the apps if you don't want to wait around for one to arrive. I really like Bolt very rarely let's you down only when some big event has happened and thousands are also trying to get a taxi. Then your best option when you want to get around is motorbike taxi if it's not too scary for you or the taxi bus which I had to use recently in Pattaya to get away from the fireworks evening.

Good luck with your ventures in Thailand it's a truly wonderful place to live πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ™πŸΌ
