Each visa has different things to get in order. Maybe repost with more details or reach out to a qualified legal firm or visa service.

When you go to immigration to get you 1 year retirement visa you can get a multi entry visa stamp at that time. It’s an extra fee. Note that the form will have a check box for the single and the multi entry. Obviously check the multi.

So in the U.S. debit card scams are a real problem. So I’ve always kept the bare minimum in my bank account.

I’ve always kept my funds in my investment accounts since access is much more secure and of course, money grows there rather than in a bank.

According to the Visa service I’m working with the statements need to be from a bank account. This is for the initial 90 retirement O visa being applied for in the U.S. Hence needs to be U.S. bank. Once I get the 90 day retirement visa I guess I’ll then be able to open a Thai bank account, transfer the funds then repeat the process after three months.

Thank you so much for the reply. I reviewed the process and nothing on the Thai embassy site about having to show 3 months of funds from a U.S. account. I’ve transferred the funds over so it’s a waiting game from here I guess. With the debit card scams in the US I’ve always been reluctant to keep much in my bank. account. Good thing I got some professional help. I never would have picked up on it.
