Why has my Bangkok Bank account been blocked for over two weeks, and can I open a bank account with a DTV visa?

Wrong. Numerous examples of people on DTV owning a condo : can’t have a bank account. It’s national policy. Other banks just started to freeze then cancel accounts of DTV holders.

Again : your DTV is not meant to make a life here. The message from authorities is crystal clear: you are just temporary here and they don’t want you to settle here. There are other visa for this.

Only anonymous seem to have problem with bank accounts. Same as being grilled on re-entry by immigration : only for anonymous . Strange isn’t it ?
