Is it acceptable to use an Airbnb address for a Thai visa application instead of a hotel?

Depends on the embassy, seems some are okay some are not. The embassy I applied at specifically mentioned that Airbnbs were not allowed. I made a refundable hotel booking and submitted the hotel address instead. And they did ask for proof of the booking.
