I had to provide flight bookings on the way out and a flight booking to leave the country before the end of the 180 days.

I guess they want to see where you are coming from and when. I paid more and booked a flexible ticket as others have suggested.

Is a return flight necessary when applying for a Thai TDAC with a DTV?

I applied via the London Embassy just over a month ago and one of their follow up questions asked for proof of a flight out before the end of the 6 month period. I booked a cheap one to Vietnam and uploaded the details and they accepted it.

Can DTV holders in Thailand successfully open a bank account while owning a condo?

You’re not eligible to open a Thai bank account on a DTV as it’s a tourist visa not a resident visa.

How strict are Thai visa approvals if I have 500,000 THB for only a month?

I applied just over a month ago via the London Embassy. I uploaded my most recent bank statement (so a month old) showing the funds and they were fine with it.

What should I know about arriving at Bangkok (BKK) with a DTV visa for the first time?

Arrived last week. Presented printed out e-visa (entire page), passport and TDAC. Had all my other documents ready but didn’t get asked for anything else. Stamped for 6 months and through in less than 5 mins. Very efficient!

What banking options do I have while on a DTV in Thailand?

I arrived 2 days ago on DTV and use Revolut Premium, I picked up a card for TagThai from KBank at the airport and can top up at any KBank for QR/card payments and a Rabbit card via Klook.

Not had any problems paying for anything as yet…
