Tod is correct. I did a 60-day extension of an Non-O yesterday at Chaengwatthana. The next one I will do is a 1-year extension with 400K in the bank and the IO said it doesn’t matter where the money comes from but it has to be in the account for 60 days before applying.

No appointment (can you make one?). Showed up at 10:00 am and had queue number 85 (was on 20 when we arrived). Got to the head of the queue shortly after lunch. My recommendation would be to go as early as possible.

Yes, made the transfer of 400,000 today so it will be there exactly 2 months when I go back to do the 1-year extension.

Had to ask my landlord for it and managed to print it during lunch. But yea, you need the ID, tambien baan and lease agreement.

Also, IMPORTANT NOTE! We asked the IO if I can do another 60-day extension if the borders stay closed, and she said no. She told me to come back on the 14th of September and do a 1-year extension, and to do that I needed to transfer 400,000 from my wife’s account to mine TODAY to keep it there for the next 2 months. (She is still upset about it.😬😬)
