If you don’t have any recent excessive Travel history in and out of Thailand, you’ll be fine with two visa exemptions and a trip to Laos. You’re still genuine tourists and not misusing the system for long term stay in Thailand.

But why did you just apply for a 60 days tourist visa with single entry when you get 60 days visa exemption upon arrival as an Italian citizen anyway? What is the benefit with this? 60 days with a tourist visa VS 60 days on free visa exemption 🤷🏼

If your native language also is English, you can enter on a 60 days visa exemption and get a free stamp upon entry.

That’s the date the embassy/consulate went online and started using e-visa. You still can’t apply for a METV, Non O-A or Non O-X as a foreigner unless you also have a permanent residence in Vietnam at date. This is as rest of the world.

Good to know, than this is probably the only Thai consulate in the world that allows people with non Vietnamese passports or permanent residence in Vietnam to apply for a METV.

Yes, but just bring a receipt of your TM.30 anyway and you will know when you apply. Saves you often a lot of time than contacting the immigration in advance before you go.🤣🤣

The only thing that normally varies for a 30 days extension on a visa exemption is if you’ll need to provide a receipt of your TM.30 or not.
