My husband is in the process of applying for a single entry non o marriage visa in Australia. This gives him 90 days stay in Thailand. The required docs are your passport and a copy of wife's national ID, house registry (blue book), marriage certificate, and a photo.
Once in Thailand, he'll open a bank account solely in his name with a ฿400,000 deposit to meet the financial requirement.
After 2 months, he'll head to immigration office to apply for a one year extension. Same docs are required plus bank book.
He is required to report to immigration every 90 days. If he leaves the country, he'll need to apply for a re-entry permit to ensure this visa won't get void.
