The town itself has a lot of charm but I couldn't find a decent drink at any of the places on the river...all syrupy sweet local concoctions 😁

There are lots of muppets out there too...funny checkpoints are few and far between in Pattani so your "lots" comment is rather suspect.

Saravana Bhavan....or Dosa King is decent...but I would wait till Sunday and do unlimited brunch at Indus... but that would be likely 2500 for 2 with drinks.
