no - the visa is for 5 years. Maximum stay any one entry can be 360 days - 180 days plus 180 day extension. 500k baht will not see you through the 5 year validity of the visa.

I did not say they should not ask here - I simply told them there are other groups that will, in my opinion, give better answers. Don’t be so precious - suggesting other sources of getting help is being helpful.

The key is in the name of the group - Thailand VISA Advice …

when I applied there was the situation that multiple documents could be uploaded - passport (all pages including covers and blank pages); proof of residence, employment contract and others as requested.

One cannot expect the embassy staff to do your work for you. If they receive 52 individual documents that comprise the complete passport it’s not their job to try and compile them into 1 complete document. If the applicant cannot do this maybe it shows a limitation on their abilities and it’s a natural selection process to exclude those applicants.

it’s not a scam. Follow the rules and guidelines and the process works. If you don’t like it don’t apply.

I should have said this is a ‘visa’ group. This group is about visa advice. You can get far better ‘living in Thailand’ advice from many other groups.

There are better groups to ask this question and you will get decent responses. This is not a DTV question
