It’s either or, or so I believe. You can’t work on a ‘soft power’ DTV, so if you qualify for digital nomad you could work and then attend the classes at your leisure 🤷🏻♀️
this website belongs to Siam legal, which is a law firm, therefore the information is not directly from the Thai embassy in London and presumably therefore not strictly official 🤷🏻♀️
That’s a direct answer. Please enlighten me to exactly what medical treatments people travel to Thailand for. Aesthetic clinics provide health treatments such as vit b12 infusions and also surgery, therefore ‘medical treatment’ 🤔
My experience in Samui when running out of prescription medication.
Told the pharmacist what medication and dose required, she checked if they had it. They didn’t have it so they ordered it. Called me to say it had arrived 👍
You will pay 500tbh at Samui for each day you have overstayed and get a ‘naughty’ stamp in your passport. You will also need to lay low in Samui in order to prevent encountering any officials. It may affect future visits, but all depends on the IO that you get on the way back into Thailand.
The 7 days to leave Thailand stamp is an option, but again I’m not sure if this is detrimental in the future. Leaving the country and coming back in on a 30 day exemption will be costly, but that’s your only option if you don’t want to take risks for future visits I suppose.
