Usually when youre applying from the same country as to where the bank is they accept online generated statements. But it is a policy that varies from consulate to consulate. If youre applying at a consulate from outside of mainland china it is highly likely that they require your statement to have a bank seal or attestation. It would be best to confirm with the consulate you apply from via phone or email stating the names of the banks or institutions where you hold your funds.

You have to have it cancelled by the embassy or consulate that issued it for you. No idea if they do it remotely or if youre required to go in person. Then u apply for a fresh non O.

Technically, no, that wouldn't work. But maybe you could find a gym that does MMA and work something out.

ConfidentHummingbird1628 this advice is for people who have been abusing the visa exempt entry and extensions, doesnt necessarily apply for everyone

For once a year and less than 90 days per entry, dtv would be pretty useless for you. You should continue using the exempt till it lasts, it seems like it's probably going to be around for a good while.

No outbound tickets required for application. Some embassies/consulates request an inbound ticket to thailand.

It's either tax returns or proof of income, I don't think you have to do both necessarily.

So essentially any contracts or highlight your work related income on your bank statement and explain it in a cover letter. Add a cv or portfolio of the nature of your work maybe.

For now, no.

Policy can change, who knows.

Maybe if it ever comes to the question of applying for a second dtv they might add more scrutiny. We wont really know until another 2-3 yrs when the early DTVers will have to renew.
