my school is the main one in my area they actually have close ties with immigration. They should have an update next month but the question is if visas are not approved what are people in my situation supposed to do because the travel restrictions don't really allow people to go back home necessarily. So I don't see another logical way to handle the Visas other than approving the second year for people.
right that's what I thought my school had told me. I wasn't a hundred percent sure, but yeah that sounds about right that's why I getting the second year of the Visa has not been approved yet because we can't come back in to the country. That's also why I'm looking for a letter from my embassy and my school is waiting for approval so hopefully they go through with that. 🤞👍😃
okay, thanks. Yes as far as I know I've done everything I can do from my side and I've signed all the paperwork, and I'll just have to see what they say next. Hopefully they go forward with it as I'm not the only one in this situation and as I mentioned a lot of people can't travel normally. So I'll just have to see what they say.
okay, thank you again I'll just have to speak with my school and as they told me they will mention any updates and tell me what to do but I'll just have to ask them again and see what the next step is. Thanks again 🙏😊
okay, well I just followed what my school told me to do. they said normally we have to leave the country and come back in to start the next year of classes, I'll have to ask them regarding my extension as yes I believe it did it expire in June and I'll just have to ask them if they know what the situation is. As I mentioned the school is one of the main schools in my area and they seem to know what they're doing but I'll just have to ask a few questions then to see if they know exactly what I should do next.
yes, we did not go to school during the lockdown as they were closed. We did a few online classes with video calls and now we are back up and running and going to the school. So as I mentioned I have signed papers regarding my classes and I'm just waiting for them to tell me whether or not I can go forward with the next step and pay the fees and continue as normal so I'm just waiting for that confirmation. Thank you again I really do appreciate the insight and advice. 😊🙏
yes I have done the immigration check-ins every 90 days with my school I have done four of them so that makes one year, I have also signed a bunch of paperwork regarding the classes I took throughout that year, I have not paid for the next classes as I believe we have to pay for one year worth of classes each time as far as I know that's how it is with my school but every year we pay for the same thing of about 1 year worth of classes, and so I've signed paperwork and I have sign for the classes that I took for my first year in total. so I'm just waiting for them to give me the green light to move forward and pay for the next year worth of classes along with going to immigration for the stamp in my passport.
yes I have been going to school, of course I have missed a few here and there just due to personal reasons but I go twice a week normally. I have followed the rules as closely as I can to how they are supposed to be and I have done everything that I can do from my side. I have been asking my school if everything is okay with the pizza and they have just basically told me that they are waiting for approval for students to get their second year started. So I'm not exactly sure what's stopping them as my Visa expired in June and I have just been on the amnesty, as you mentioned my school is handling everything they are a legitimate and reputable School in my area as they are probably the biggest and main one. so I'm just waiting for them to confirm but thank you for the replies and as I mentioned I'm just looking for people who have other insights into this. Thanks again I will look forward to more replies.
okay thank you for your information and your help, I really do appreciate it. I guess I will just have to see what my school says oh, I hope they get the visa. I will continue to try to get a letter from my embassy just in case it helps but so far I have not been able to get anything. I believe they will probably approve everyone because of the situation right now and not being able to travel properly. It would be a huge inconvenience if they did not approve the Visas because people would be stuck or having to travel to other countries other than their home country. There are also not a lot of flights going to most countries so again I just hope they approve everything. Thanks again for your help. 🙏😊
okay, thanks for the info. I am not changing schools, but my school is currently waiting to see if immigration will allow for people with their second year to be renewed. I have heard that people getting their first year are having no problem but because we cannot leave the country to do a Visa run as normal there has to be approval 4 getting the second year from immigration.
