I went in person to immigration and they said to me there was a problem with the website and l so did the 90 days report at the office.

After all TM30 is to report your address ( or change of address ) as in my case

If my old passport does not turn up( I pray it does ) I do have the 90 day reporting slip that they stapled to the back page. If I show that and tell them the old one was lost ( which is true if it doesn't show up ) then can they not maybe prove I have entitlement to stay from the slip?

why you say that? The UK passport office said I would but it could take a few weeks to arrive

l get you...

At moment just looking at the process times for a new passport, uk gov are advising 10weeks but l belive that 4 weeks is nearer the mark for a standard renewal
