Mmh I'm not sure I understand 100% how it goes ^^ from what I understand, I need docs from MOE (takes times, maybe 4 weeks) and then I can apply for the Ed Visa.. I pay the school beforehand and the school takes care of everything for me (depends of which school of course). But my concern is : since nobody has control over the time it takes to receive the docs from the MOE, how can I be sure that the process will not overrun my current visa? if my Visa ends on the 5th and my ed visa is ready on the 10th or so (just an example), do i 'overstay' for 5 days? How can i find a new official way of staying for a few days?
I understand that.. but what happens if the whole process takes 'longer' than my current visa? For instance, if I apply for an ed visa now, but my current visa ends on 5th of March and by that time I still don't have my Ed visa...what happens then? (Even tho i applied, paid everything etc...)
I'll tell you about my experience. I arrived here on a TR visa, so 60 days + 30 days. That would be 90 days in total. After that, I applied for my first 60 days covid extension in Pattaya. There was no mention of a 90 days report needing to be done. I asked this forum as well at the time and one of the mods told me that if the immigration didn't ask for a 90 days report, then I shouldn't do it. Now I went to apply for my second covid extension in CM and they wanted a 90 days report. I filled the paper, and that was it. So tbh, I don't understand how this works. It seems to be a grey area and up to every immigration office.
For the Covid reason, I just wrote : Covid 19. Honestly, I think they don't care.
I didn't ask, but the 90 days report was on the list of the required documents to fill, so I just filled the form. They didn't mention anything about me not having done a previous 90 days report. They just gave me my first 60 days extension stamp, and have to come back in two weeks
thank you 🙏 quick question here : what happens if I 'overstay' in between the under consideration stamp and the legit 60 days covid extension, if you know what I mean?
