The Bangkok Bank branch in Chaengwattana allowed me to temporary unfreeze the amount for me to update my bank book and issue me the letter confirming at I have 400k in the account. To unfreeze, you can go to any Bangkok Bank branch to request unfreeze, it is not instant. You have to do it few days before you need it.

After that, they freeze it again.

Needs traceability.

I’m at Chaengwattana right now. Same here. Immigration requirement is just to show we have 400k in bank seasoned for two months. Banked in 400k in December last year. Today they notify me to freeze it for another 4 months starting today. Why?
