next one....... UK O-A hopefully. I know there is no double entry tourist, I should of explained better, 1000 single entry, then 800 baht per extra entry, confusing as probably meant multiple entry 1800 baht.
on saying I would never return, I was speaking with a lad from Udon & he said getting an online appointment was extremely difficult as the touts outside were booking them all....... staying here just seems to get harder
Did a run to Savannakhet - Chaos is probably the best description. The touts were unsure of the rules for 'O'Visa, you have to be married or have baby !!! I assume the baby element was for Guardian extension. They never mentioned the retirement extension. Went for the tourist option, seemed there was less to go wrong. Bought & filled out an application form. As of Monday there was no requirement for 20,000 Baht or for any exit flight. Then waited for 90 minutes in the sun for the place to open.Arrived 0730, left after depositing application 1045 - not a fun experience at all. queue jumpers were rife, hard work in the heat. Paid 1000 baht for single entry, double was 1800 Baht after managing to escape went for Beers !!!. Returned next day to collect, queue moved quickly and was there about 30 minutes. Left and vowed never to return............
A friend of mine has child with Thai mother, not married to each other and he frequently gets a 60 day parental extension. This is from Khon Kaen Immigration.
