this made me physically laugh, thank you. Generative AIs are well known for spitting out wrong information sorry if this is the first you've come across it. Good luck with the application.

Ah that sucks, yeah do the 3 previous month's worth of statements then the print out with a note - you may have to do this in a word document and print that to PDF and then combine it into the final document - stating that your bank only issues end of the month with no other options with the next one due to issue only at the end of March and not before then, and that you've uploaded 3 months worth Dec Jan and Feb.

That way you're covering bases and explaining why you can only provide these ones. With the highlight of course.

You should hopefully be able to request a statement to be issued from your bank that'll go from the last statement to the date you call. That way you have an official statement.

Depending on when the system actions these (my bank has midnight process runs) it'll be available afterwards.

Doing a PDF combine is best if it's multiple documents, in chronological order, then highlighting the specific lines. Make sure to close and reopen as sometimes the highlight doesn't save and you have to print to PDF to get a version that retains the highlighter.

Edit: I'd also ask what statement issue options your bank has, mine has anything from daily to quarterly, some depend on the account type/structure.

I always refresh it several times and then click through slowly until I get an easy one to solve.

yep, you'll need to show evidence and explain that because they'll ask for company/business registration if it's not clear to them.

Australia it falls under the personal income/sole trader area to buy/sell shares under own name. So more the entrepeneur/free lancer but you're not providing services like most businesses do and don't need to produce invoices or receipts to customers. It still requires having to document it like a business for when you submit your taxes.

I'm not sure how investing under own name works for taxes/legal obligations in America.

I was asked for company and business registration which I also don't have and had to provide details about why.

The people processing the applications are making sure that you are able to earn an income generated from outside of Thailand to support yourself, that it's nothing dodgy, and don't have the same knowledge as you about it.

yeah, you still have to show your share portfolio, income from it, explain the tax structure of your country in regards to it.

You're buying and selling stuff to make a profit and that profit is your income.

It also depends on how you invest as some people invest/trade under their own name rather than having a company/business/trust structure and they will want details about that.

They may have been confused by what you were telling them or had provided to them, if you work for a company they will want evidence that you have permission to work from Thailand or something.

You are dealing with people that don't have the in-depth knowledge of business structures or types of employments or the knowledge you know so you have to explain it and back it up with what evidence you can.

I did like the one that explained about this pushing out genuine learners and gym availability limits. But yeah the dog piling is a bit much.
