Laos is a ripoff. 50 dollars for a cab from the airport in the middle of nowhere. And 10 dollars for a decent room. 50c beers. Weird country 🤣

Ya I guess that's what I was wondering. If I can convert while still in country or if I have to leave and then apply. I still have 6 weeks before my extension is over. First time dealing with anything like this. Thanks 🙏

I belive you can if you set it up in advance first but I'm not sure. I always pay cash. I know you can use Thai bank account to the driver though if you have one.

I've never had a problem. Sometimes you have to cancel and find another driver. But only had to do that once.
