My embassy does. I can get a verified income statement from my embassy and not need to proof any, that is 0 (zero) thai baht in Thailand.

Can I leave Thailand with a 3-month retirement visa and return to extend it to a year?

A re-entry permit does not pauze your 3 months validity of stay. It only keeps it active when leaving. To extend your stay with 1 year you have to be back within the validity period.

Health insurance prices very much depend on many individual factors. What i pay is irrelevant. I might be younger or older. I use max or no deductables. I am healthy or pre existing conditions. Etc etc etc.

Doing a borderbounce a few times is no option. People get questioned already doing 1 bounce. 2 bounche is very doubtfull. You probably will be denied. Don"'t forget you have a history of longstay. Not take a risk. Get it over with. Use the
