Hello, I need help please urgently. So I am going to JOMTIEM immigration tomorrow to extend my non o visa. I went to my bank and asked for authorisation letter and 12 month statement.

Well disaster. They printed letter and statement but the statement was from 29/12/22 to 29/6/23 which was date of my last entry, so not 12 months. To fix this I today made a payment into the bank after statement and letter were printed ad I got them to print another statement locally with todays transaction on it. So I now have a 4 page statement from 29/12/22 to 29/6/23 and a separate page for today showing 3/12/23. So will this statement be accepted or does it have to run concurrently for the whole 12 month period. I had the letter reprinted showed today's transaction. Also the statements does not show every month if there are no transactions. Secondly, although immigration have my tm30 on their system my landlord cannot screenshot it for me , as they have changed to a new system. So I have nothing to show immigration. What do I do please

Thanks

When entering Thailand on a Visa exemption. And planning to extend your stay. Do you need to report to immigration within 24 hours of arrival for a tm-30?

Quick question (I’m sure it’s been covered thousands of times).

For a 30 day extension of a TR visa do I need to provide TM-30 form? I’m getting conflicting answers to this question.

Thank you very much.

Hi all. I entered Thailand last month having applied for a 60-day tourist visa, but as it came through two days too late, wound up entering on a visa exemption, with a 30-day stamp that is good through this coming Saturday.

Tomorrow (er, well, later today), I'm visiting Chiang Mai immigration to — I think, unless someone suggests otherwise! — apply for a 30-day extension for tourism.

I still have, or have access to, that 60-day tourism visa that's ready and waiting, but I believe I would have to leave the country and re-enter using that for it to come into play, correct? (What would be simplest in my uneducated-on-the-topic view, is to just "switch" to that now, but that seems impossible?)

(The end goal here is staying another three months or more; more on that below.)

I've read all about what I need to take with me for the 30-day extension and have all that ready. I have a few questions, though, if someone with experience would be so kind as to answer:

* First, should I tell the immigration officer about the already-approved 60-day tourist visa? Will she/he see that in the system somewhere regardless? Mostly I just don't want to look shady by asking for one thing when I already have another one.

* I have two TM-30 forms now, because of timing of my many moving parts: One for the hotel I've been staying in, for which I've paid through Saturday. And now having signed a three-month lease on a condo here, I also have that one from the landlord. Should I present both and explain? Should I just hand over the hotel one, which seems like it would raise fewer questions? Or the longer one?

* I had booked a flight to Singapore leaving on Saturday thinking I'd need to show that on arrival at the airport last month, but was never asked for it. Should I either take proof of that to the immigration office and/or reschedule it for a day that is 30, 60 or 90 days in the future?

Sometime in the next couple of months, I'm planning to transition to an ED visa — a legit one, as I'd like to start learning the language and also attend the lecture series at Chiang Mai University. I don't think this is particularly relevant to my more immediate query, but mentioning it here just in case it's more relevant than I realize. (I think I've ready that prior to pandemic-times, you had to be on a TR visa, rather than just an exemption/extension, to make that change in-country. But if I'm reading correctly those rules seem to have been relaxed now?)

Many, many thanks in advance for your help; and for letting me into this knowledge-base!

Question about the TM-30 form. I own a condo in Bangkok on my own name. Does the owner of the building where I bought my condo has to do something? And do I have to visit the immigration or can I fill in the TM30 online?

If I have to visit immigration Bangkok, is it ok if I arrive at 13.30 o'clock or do I have to wait for hours if you arrive in the afternoon.

OK. I am in Chiang Mai on a visa exemption.

Looking to extend for 30 days.

Is this the same process as it was 2-3 years ago? (Which was turn up, get photos, fill in forms, hand over with cash, wait a bit... wait a bit more and here's your extension).

Or do I need a TM-30 now and, if so, how do I do that?

Any relevant advice is appreciated. Thanks.

I arrived in Thailand on a tourist visa. My building filed a TM-30 during that time. I left the country and returned on a non-immigrant B Visa. I haven’t been to immigration since I returned to Thailand 3 weeks ago.

I thought I just need to check in every 90 days. Am I doing what I’m supposed to do? I feel like I’m missing something.

Hello everybody, 2-part question here.

I'm on a marriage extension, and I'm due to renew it and do my 90-day check mid-december. However, I'll be moving to a different province in mid-December, so will renew it there instead of coming back here to collect it after it's finished processing.

1 - the estate agent claims they will update the tm-30 when I move into the new house, and that I don't need to go to immigration myself to update my address. Is that correct? I know they're cracking down on updating residence addresses now, e.g. When coming back from holiday, so don't want to get caught out.

2 - am I right in assuming I can just renew my marriage extension like normal in the new province, without having to do a home visit and everything like when you first apply for the extension?

TIA!
