I wonder what they do if you do not have them to hand.. there is no formal stipulation to carry the application documentation upon arrival,

That is why the scrutiny has been upped. Many "agents" used Laos especially via SP. Unfortunately, IO cannot distinguish between agent applications and genuine applications.

Someone posted that DTVS from Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia are being scrutinized as that is where many scam applications have been found. Good that you had all the docs to hand to show.
