Always need to show an exit ticket. Unless, you are doing a Visa Exempt, and they just don't ask for it. But whether they ask or not, you should have an outbound ticket.
Even if you have a Visa, you should carry a copy of your outbound ticket in case they ask. The Outbound ticket does not have to be back to your home country. Just out of Thailand.
Funny, Canadians are notorious for having certain mannerisms. You don't sound Canadian to me.
I love my country but I don't want to live there right now because of all the hostility. But I still love the USA and I always will.
So, you have a Canadian Passport, then? I wouldn't give up my USA passport for anything.
If you have a Canadian Passport, you don't have to live there but having the freedom come and go with ease has got to be valuable for you. You can even come back and forth to the USA, UK, or EU whenever you want.
Your Citizenship is much more than living there.
I feel sorry for you that you feel the need to speak so badly about your home country.
No, it's an international Thai Visa group. Visa implies that one needs to enter Thailand. You did not correct me when I specifically said what I paid in USD for my education and at the end of the post when I said "Unless you are talking about Thai Baht." -Crickets
Your next post was a defense of your service includes Visa+Study. Nothing about currency.
If you come here, get used to it. Expats are a "Special" group of individuals.
That is an honest warning. Usually the people who have been here the longest.
Why did I say "here?" LOL I am in Cambodia. But I have been in Thailand quite a bit. And, actually, the Expats all seem to be the same even though the ASEAN locals are different from Country to Country.
