Repatriation flights this month are covered by Thai Airways. There is a special teacher repatriation flight on the 14th run by EVA though.

thanks! That’s how I understood the rules. Just not sure what to put on my departure date on the visa application!

My school will sort multiple re-entry permits for me and do all that as well as all the other things it seems, it’s just the departure date on my application that is stumping me and the ex-pat HR officer at the school wasn’t sure either - she’s been awesome with all my other queries.

Yeah, I've seen one from India - with an actual link to the application form for entry and this one from Manila now - still waiting for the UK embassy to update their website, it still says visa section closed and nothing else updated since last week!

As I am working in a school out there, my understanding is my visa will let me get my work permit and teaching license so that is something that has to be renewed yearly and I will have to do 90 day reporting as I understand it?

Just wasn't sure when to put that I'm intending to leave the country? Do I just put the 90 days?

I'm applying for mine right now and for the UK, I've had to go to the Criminal Records Office which is national police - not sure about the US, but on the logic I've had to get a national police check, you would have to go higher up than local police I'd imagine

Thanks for the reply! I'll start chasing up the paperwork from my new employer whilst I'm waiting on my police certificate to arrive!

At the moment the UK Embassy in London is closed for visas but open for Thai nationals (they reckon until July which fits in with the other news about reopening the country I guess) but hoping to get my application draft done ready for when it the visa services reopen so I can be first in the queue at the embassy :P (wishful thinking perhaps!)
