Well if your supervisors are coming in a work capacity then they should get an appropriate visa. A visa upon arrival isn't the correct visa, is it?

@Joseph ****
However you may apply for a 30 day on arrival.

No.

Google search it. There are now actually 64 countries in the visa exemption scheme. Taiwan isn't one of them. Google is a wonderful thing. 🙄

If your 90 day report was due from 1 May or later then you are exempt until 31 July

Really? So flying off to Singapore or KL, staying there for 2 nights, paying for a new visa, paying for a new work permit etc etc. How much does that cost? Oh wait, l cannot fly off to Singapore or KL. So what is my option?

Keep your small minded remarks to yourself. At least when l work l am legal.

What's that got to do with the price of fish? Agents can still do it right now.

I am about to start a new job and the same agent is fixing my visa and transferring my work permit for the same fee of 25,000 baht.

I used an agent in October last year and changed from a tourist visa to a non immigrant B visa without leaving the country. 25,000 baht was the fee

Apply for a single entry non immigrant B visa. When you arrive and have your work permit then your single entry non immigrant B visa will be extended for the duration of your work contract. There is no need to get a multiple entry visa as teachers are exempt from doing the 90 day border bounces. If you want to leave Thailand to go overseas you can get a re-entry permit. You can obtain a single re-entry or multiple re-entry permit from your local immigration in Thailand once you have arrived. With regards to the leaving date on your arrival card, simply state 90 days from your original entry into Thailand.

I did the same. I have been here for 8 years without having to do any border bounces and l came in on a single entry non immigrant B visa.
