For Thai citizen ship, I used my parents Thai id or passport. You only need one parent to be Thai but both of mine are. You also need your birth certificate with your name in it. Since I did it in America and I was born there, Ididn't need to verify it. You may need to do that of you apply in Thailand

yup just like Robert said but make sure your bali trip return leaves you with 30 days in Bangkok. If you go to bali before, then your back with the same problem.

Or you can take a quick trip out of Thailand for the weekend. UK passports should get 30 days or just pay 500 baht a day.for each overstay day 500x5=2500. Cost a bit more but better than going out of your way to extend visa

That's a huge advantage! As you read often in this group, ppl are finding it more difficult to do the border bounce and if you can afford it why not. You also get to get in th the priority lines at the airport too when you decide to leave the country. Oh and I think a golf membership
