However, with that said, the above requirements are still not required in Europe 

I can understand this in some ways, but then again, why is Thailand the only country in the world to have such strict entry rules nowadays, and why keep changing them?

Whereas most countries are making it easier to stay and welcoming tourists, even China does not have these strict rules.

simply do it 24 hours before you fly you’ll be fine 

I believe that at passport control in Thailand, you might not have any issues. However, you might have an issue with Emirates, as per their policy on flights into Thailand on a one-way ticket.

 Therefore, you’ll be better off checking in with them as well.
