no cannot, he is on 60day TV so first extension is the normal 30 days

When this is a 60day tourist visa (visa as sticker in his passport) then he is eligible for a normal 30 day (not Covid) extension. Just go to immigration

At the moment a 60 day TV can be extended once incountry with 30 days only since not possible to border bounce. No multiple entry TV visas atm possible.

As long as country is in state of emergency (which is declared atm till half June) one might be able to apply for special Covid extension (60days).

For now this is the rule till May 29, after this might change depending on emergency state of the country.

You can switch to Non B work visa though you have to start company or get hired and proces takes a while.

Your embassy can help with required paperwork for TV and quarantine rules upon arrival etc

According TM30 .. its your landlords duty to register TM30 which is proof you stay on that address. You can ask if they did. If not they should or you can give them the paperform to sign and bring to Immigration.

If landlord or accommodation filled you in the online system as they should .. you should have no problem at Immigration.

They will see it in their computer and you make sure you fill out correct same address on your TM7 application form.

Note you can not extend at an Immigration office outside the province you registered in.

She can not get 60 days before she normally extended first!

In case you arrived recently in the country (<60days) and did not extend your Tourist Visa yet then you can apply for 30 days normal extension.

If done then somewhere in May just before the new expiry date of your 30 day stamp (and before May 29) apply for 60 day Extension of Stay due to Covid-19

So for now you can extend for 90 days in total. We dont know what happens after May 29 if they continue with the Covid extensions
