I guess I will go for the METV when I am at home then as if I can squeeze another in, it seems to be the best option atm. As I was just granted a SETV in Penang last month (with all the above things mentioned in my passport), and was issued one, I think I should be ok on this passport seeing as ill be out for a month anyway.

Yes Tod the first lady tried using that on me and I politely said that rule was gone years ago... then they counted my money and I only had 19k cash on me so the official reason of denial was ''lack of funds''.
David I can show bank accounts from home, I can show income from outside Thailand but I am still worried they would get confused and immediately think something dodgy.
That will be the plan I think just go up to Udon and cross at Laos, unless I take an extended trip out for a month or something. It's just that initial airport entry to Swampy in September that I am weary about.
Ya it was in July I did my first every 1 day in/out and was denied at DMK. I just did a 30 day exemption as I only had just over a month till I was going home for a visit and was just going to extend it. I came back in 3 days later no questions asked once I had obtained an actual visa.
Yea I was thinking the same thing. I am not so much worried about getting it approved but the whole entering through the airport gives me the shivers now haha.
