When on a work permit, how long can you leave the country without it affecting the work permit? Planning a trip back home but not sure how long I can be absent before there is an issue. Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
You can leave Thailand while on a work permit as long as you return before the work permit expires. If the permit expires while you are away, you will need to apply for a new one.

As long as you back into the country before the Work Permit expires it will be no problem, after that date it is expired and you have to apply for new one.

Luckily its a remote position :). Thanks again Robert.

If your company or employer agree that you leave that long and not work for them. They still have to pay you, the Thai staff and tax and sso while you're gone.
