I understand that you need to have proof of residence in the country where you are (say Vietnam) to get a Thai Non immigrant o visa at a Thai embassy in that country. Do you know of a way a person flying in and out to achieve that?
The management at my serviced apartment in Chiang Man, refused to give me a TM-30, but gave me a printed personal letter, signature and all, stating I am a resident there. With that letter she included the second page of the TM-30 with my name printed on it. Will this work for me when I return to immigration next month to apply for my non-immigrant O, on my way toward a retirement visa? I would appreciate your thoughts on this. Thanks.
