Like he said ^^^

Every application goes under consideration 1st, then you go back and get your stamp.

When you received your new passport the embassy should have given you a letter to present to immigration, you’ll need that letter.

Plus copies of both old and new passports.

Somewhere on this group is a thread from when I did this back in November 2020 at Chaengwatthana.

Bugger.....what a horrible situation to be in.

I hope you get a compassionate immigration officer.

As Tod said.

Additionally, don’t forget the form/letter your embassy/passport office gave you when you got your new passport.

It is the document requesting immigration to transfer tour visa to your new passport.

Without this document they will NOT do the transfer of the visa.

I know this because I am sitting at Chaengwatthana right now doing a visa transfer to new UK passport.

And that is why you should always arrive at Changwatthana by 7am latest.....

It depends on how well your old company and your new company work together.

If they do it well, there is no need for you to leave Thailand.

If they don't communicate, the chances are that you will need to change visa type in the interim.

Follow any instruction of your new company.

Hopefully, if they are BOI, they will be registered at Chamchuri Square One-Stop-Shop, which is much easier than doing Din Daeng and Chang Watthana.

I'd get there early, they will be busy on Tuesday this week.

They'll be closed Monday this week, then open for business on Tuesday.

Same as every other Government Office.
